I have been elected President of European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and the Elbow ( SECEC). 👨🎓

In 1987, Didier Patte and Norbert Gschwend decided to create the "Société Européenne pour la Chirurgie de l’Epaule et du Coude" (SECEC). Today, all the communications are in English, but we continue to call our society “SECEC”, as a legacy of the past. From the early beginnings, two mains goals were identified :

- First, to organize a world class congress with a very high scientific level. This goal has been achieved this year despite the pandemic, we were 600 attendees with a high scientific level.

- The second goal was to increase the knowledge and training of surgeons interested in Shoulder and Elbow problems.

My mission is to lead our great team further towards the achievement of these two original goals.
